Fine Art Printing

We print art in Giclée quality.

At iLAB Photo, we specialise in Giclée Fine Art printing using the latest professional inkjet printers, including the Epson SC-P20000 and Stylus Pro 9000. We’ve partnered with leading paper manufacturers; Fotospeed, Canson, and Hahnemühle to offer over 30 premium Fine Art and photo papers for a wide range of creative needs.

Why Choose Fine Art Printing?

Fine Art papers offer exceptional longevity, with a lifespan of 75 to 150 years, depending on framing and storage conditions. Our use of archival pigment inks ensures superior UV stability and a broader colour gamut than traditional photo processes.

In contrast, photo papers typically last up to 30 years, often chosen for their affordability or resemblance to C-prints. However, when combined with pigment inks and our advanced printers, even photo paper prints benefit from richer blacks, sharper details, and a wider colour range, delivering a final product that far exceeds conventional printing standards.

What is Giclee?

Giclée is a term coined by printmaker Jack Duganne in the 90s for fine art digital prints made on inkjet printers. It was originally intended to differentiate their new process of large-format, high-resolution inkjet print production from inferior mass-produced printing. Nowadays, the term giclée is also associated with inkjet printing that uses archival, fade-resistant inks on fine art papers. When we print this way, the print looks closest to the original with archival quality.
